It may not be quite as excellent as I hoped for it to be but it’s still a really fun time. The direction and editing are lacking energy, the plot is a mess, the CGI is pretty terrible and I didn’t quite care for the twist at the end but I just love the naturally sweet and loving tone. If only we had an actual Bill and Ted duo to bring peace to the world and teach everyone to be excellent to one another cause that’s exactly what we need right now. I also loved the Dave Grohl and Kid Cudi cameos and everything with Death and Dennis the robot was hilarious. Great Weezer song at the end also. I’d also like to thank MGM and everybody involved for allowing people to have the choice between going to the theater or watching this from the comfort of their own home in the middle of a pandemic. Maybe Warner Bros. and Christopher Nolan should be taking a page out of their book instead of making people risk their lives to see a goddamn movie.
