Ok, it’s official, I’m finally gonna learn how to surf next summer. Anyway, with the possible exception of Die Hard, this is my favorite action movie of all time. Kathryn Bigelow’s flawlessly directed skydiving and surfing sequences are just beautiful. One of those flicks that just touches my soul. And of course, Johnny Utah and Bodhi are simply iconic. Can we please erase the 2015 remake from existence? Also, I literally just heard about Chadwick Boseman as I finished watching this and I’m just speechless. Wakanda Forever.
