Still one of my favorites. The brilliant script and Fincher’s wild direction just make for a weird, avant-garde and wholly original film. I’m still unable to put into words what I think the actual message is beyond just a deconstruction of consumerism but I think that speaks to how good the movie is. There are so many possible interpretations and it doesn’t really spoon-feed you anything. But I should probably stop talking because I’m not supposed to talk about Fight Club and wherever Tyler Durden is right now, he’s probably really mad at me😬🧼🧼.
