It didn’t blow me away or hit me as hard as I wanted it to emotionally but there’s no denying how epic a movie this is. The cinematography is gorgeous and the score is phenomenal. I also love the idea that Lawrence is on a journey of self-discovery even if I wish they went a bit deeper and gave us more of his backstory. And damn Peter O’Toole is fantastic. 

UPDATE: This has grown on me and I’d like to rewatch it soon.
