This certainly isn’t a perfect movie but a charismatic Tom Cruise, a great soundtrack and score from Kenny Loggins and Harold Faltermeyer and Tony Scott’s over the top, cheesy 80s direction elevate it to mostly entertaining heights even with it’s weak story and it’s emotionally detached action sequences.
