Just when you thought they’d never make another good Groundhog Day rip-off after Edge of Tomorrow, they made an endlessly fun, heartwarming, thoughtful and somehow a refreshingly original rom com that’s also a meditation on loneliness. It’s also the perfect movie to watch during a pandemic/lockdown/fascist regime when it really does feel like you’re living the same day over and over again. Also, Andy Samberg and Cristina Milioti have great chemistry which makes it all the better. And tonight was my first time ever going to a drive-in and it was such a cool experience especially since I haven’t seen a movie on the big screen since Onward back in March. They played the Tenet trailer and everything it was so awesome. This was a total blast and the best movie of the year so far. I will certainly be going to more of these drive-in screenings.
