The first act is slow and overall I wouldn’t call it a pleasant watch but it’s an undeniably and deeply moving story that really hits home. Another haunting exploration of just how horrible the Holocaust was. Although, I do think it’s weird that the first Nazi that The Bear Jew kills in Inglorious Basterds also plays a Nazi in this, 20 years earlier.
