It may not be great and there are many flaws to be found but overall, the chemistry between The Rock and Jason Statham and the over the top action with a lovable and cartoonish Idris Elba, make this a perfectly entertaining summer action film, free from the weight that Vin Diesel’s Dominic Toretto brings to the Fast and Furious franchise.
