I had to show this to my dad immediately after I found out that he had never seen it. The fact that I was excited and able to watch this just a week after I last saw it, shows just how damn good it is. Also, it never fails to make me start craving a slice of pizza.

I wanna go back to last summer, not just to relive the experience of seeing it for the first time with my Filmbros at Lincoln Center but also to slap myself for not giving it the 5 stars it deserves. This is a brilliant masterpiece that’s still so damn powerful and relevant over three decades later. I might even watch this again over the summer. Also, this time I noticed the awesome foreshadowing at the beginning when Sal says “I’m gonna kill somebody today.” Between this, Field of Dreams, Dead Poets Society, Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade, Say Anything, Batman and many, many others, 1989 was undeniably a great year for cinema. Also, the fact that only 105k people on here have seen this but almost 600k people on here have seen Parasite…😐.
