This is just the usual Michael Bay garbage. I gotta admit it gets better after the atrocious first act though. It definitely has SOME effective moments and SOME imaginative action sequences. I also SOMEWHAT warmed up to the characters by the end. But the key words here are some and somewhat. The majority of this movie is horribly written and grossly directed. It’s the same movie Michael Bay has made 10 times. Endless slow-motion, nauseating editing and cinematography and forced, unfunny comedy. Oh and of course, shots of women from behind cause he can’t live without at least a few of those in his movies. This one is also unnecessarily over violent. He’s just fetishizing and indulging in all his fantasies. But definitely a huge step up from the disgrace to mankind that was The Last Knight.
