Really solid war film. A lot of tension, beautiful, powerful cinematography and a fantastic score. George MacKay is going to be a star and he definitely deserves all the nominations. It slowed down a little bit during the second act but really picked up again at the end. That scene where Schofield runs across the field at the end is so fucking powerful it gave me goosebumps. I also would’ve liked a little bit more character development though. Definitely gonna see this one again. Also, I’d like to thank my theater for having a broken projector for the 10:00 showing cause if not I wouldn’t have met Guillermo Del Toro in the park on the way back!!
