Margot Robbie was born to play Harley Quinn but unfortunately she can’t save this movie from being a structurally incoherent, lifeless mess. It’s poorly directed with no soul or energy, it’s barely funny, grossly edited and horribly paced. The action isn’t even that good which is shocking because the John Wick team came on set to help with choreography but the sequences are just forgettable and dull. And it may not be as bad as Suicide Squad but damn it certainly has the same music problem. It really does feel like a 2 hour music video with its non stop tunes and it just gets so annoying! And the music is so loud that sometimes I couldn’t hear the dialogue over it. It’s not awful but it’s another DC disappointment and it had so much more potential.
